Mount your DJI Ronin, Ronin-M, Ronin-MX, Tilta Gravity or Freefly MōVI (along with the MōVI mount) to a Steadicam arm for 4th axis vertical stabilization and to take the weight off your arms!
First, you will need our “Ronin Quick Plate” **Required** or the the MōVI mount. Simply mount this adaptor to your “CineMilled Ronin Quick Plate” then slide your handlebars thru it and slide your RONIN into the mount and secure. Then have an assistant help you slide the the adaptor onto your Steadicam arm directly into the Steadicam arm “Armpost”. It then can be secured via a pinch bolt and a aircraft style safety pin. This will vertically stabilize your Ronin via the Steadicam arm and also take all the weight off your arms and distribute into your body via the comfortable Steadicam vest. You will never want to use an Easyrig again!
Please watch the videos for a detailed look at the CineMilled Steadicam arm adaptor and it’s assembly and use.

This will now now open you to a whole new world of options… you can mount your Steadicam arm onto (via a “garfield mount”) a vehicle, atv, golf cart, GripTrix, Segway, motorcycle… the sky is the limit with our products! Here is a Real world demo shot. Standard “Steadicam” shot….tracking actor and “walk and talk”, used my Nikon D4, 35mm lens, (Ronin in follow mode). Vest and arm by GPI PRO™. Footage straight from camera, no color, no post stabilization (DUH) watch and make your own conclusions and decisions. All I can say no “Easyrig” for me… this is so much better.
Please ignore poor framing….I was in a rush in follow mode with no help and no monitor! Just wanted to give everyone a taste of how it looks and performs. I’ll do some sexier testing when I get a chance to breathe!! I do believe perfect situation there would be a remote operator and I just worry about holding headroom etc…
On a Segway – although everything mentioned can apply to any vehicle “hardmount.”
LOWMODE
Simply invert your armpost on your arm and secure the pinch bolt and insert the aircraft push pin for ultimate safety and lowmode is unlocked!! It works great and lets you do so much more!
Here is what’s included in the kit: The Steadicam arm adaptor (includes pinch bolt), 4 long allen bolts with shoulder, aircraft style safety push pin (goes thru the armpost for 100% safety) and the 4 handlebar “blocks”.
Please take care and order the correct armpost size/brand!! (Custom sizes available)

** NOTE ABOUT STEADICAM ARMS **
Steadicam arms and vests can come in many prices, shapes, sizes, quality and load capacities. Generally you get what you pay for. The more expensive the vest the more comfortable it will be. The more expensive the arm, the better it will perform. Things to keep in mind when choosing a arm to work with your Ronin;
Weight capacity You need an arm that is at least capable of 15lbs minimum payload capacity. If you use a arm with lower capacity the Ronin will sink and you will have to “hold it up” while this is not a deal killer you WILL introduce some walking motion into the camera because you are holding it up instead of letting it float and letting the arm do the work. My ronin with my nikon D4 and Focus motors and Paralinx transmitter weigh around 15lbs… most Epic builds will weigh closer to and above 20lbs+. So keep that in mind when choosing an arm!!!
