The PAN counter weight mount is the key to unlocking new configurations without the need for pan extensions.
Installs easily with 3M industrial stick tape to the rear of the Ronin.
By using the PRO Dovetail for example…. you can avoid buying arm extensions, but as you add weight to the gimbal you might run out of PAN balance adjustment. What is needed is our weight mount so you can screw in our counterweights and be able to perfectly balance your Ronin without the need for extensions. Great for Sony Fs7 users.
PRO Dovetail Weight System
As you can see by the “T” shape the rear portion contains a series of 3/8″ threaded holes that allow you to spin-on our threaded weights to counter act heavy lenses/mattebox. By doing this you are also adding bottom counter weight to help counter act top heavy camera builds. This might eliminate the need for arm extensions and a tilt arm extension! All that is needed then is the PAN mount so you can properly balance your PAN AXIS.
