Extremely modular and versatile our 10″ round rigging suction cup can be one of the main anchor points of your rigging kit due to the size of the cheeseplate and mounting options it provides and hold strength. The 10″ cup can hold 179lb!
High quality suction large cups are a key part of any rigging kit, and the 10″ round suction cup is important because sometimes you have room for a larger suction cup and the stronger holding power (179lbs) of the 10″ cup gives you an important safety margin. It’s important to have a few different sizes but your need 1 or more 10″ cups to anchor your structure. When possible I usually use at least 2 10″ suction cups on my rigging structures.
The innovative CineMilled multi use modular top cheese plate design features 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes and thru holes throughout (1″ on center spaced), thus allowing you to mount all CineMilled Universal Gimbal Mounts, Movi “toad in the hole” , Cinemilled “granades” and the new CineMilled modular Speedrail “starters” which give you the freedom to then mount the speedrail clamps to build out your structure, the new Female “Houdini” clamp also then allows you to mount speedrail in a horizontal position. CineMilled “Grenades” can also be mounted and used as speedrail “starters”. The most important thing the 10″ cup gives you is freedom to rig by giving you many options.
An important feature of our vehicle lineup is also the modular CineMilled Speedrail Starters. These modular starters are available in 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″. These starters allow you to mount custom length speedrail vertically to the suction cup. Giving you more freedom to rig. Giving you the option to have a longer “starter”.
The KEY distinctive feature is that you can remove the top cheeseplate and actually use it for 2 other uses!! If you mount a CineMilled Mitchell Threaded Collar & Castle Nut to the bottom of the cheeseplate and you mount the CineMilled Modular Speedrail Starter to the top of it you now have a way to put a vertical speedrail on a dolly or crane that then enables you to mount your gimbal arm and many other things.
