A small number of Ronin 2’s have been known to NOT turn on using Revolt while it is connected to power sources 27.5V and greater, such as the 28V output typical of a Block Battery. As a result, MotoCrane has created the BLOCK BATTERY REGULATOR (BBR) module to reduce this typical output voltage from 28V to 26V. This lower voltage (26VDC) is known to work with all Ronin 2’s tested.
The BBR has an input voltage range of 18-40VDC via 3-pin XLR, and outputs 26VDC via 3-pin XLR (20A peak).
