Control for Every Remote Head/Every Gimbal/Every Camera
With an industry-first Open API, the Alpha Wheels are the first wheels that can work across the full spectrum of remote heads, gimbals, cameras, and more. If you can imagine a use for the wheels, with some simple software programming, they can almost certainly be used for them.
Communication protocols in development: Serial via USB, Serial via Lemo, CAN BUS, Raw Encoder Data, and stepper motor compatible Step and Direction signal.
Q: How do I set it up to work with a Movi Controller?
A: See the manual for detailed instructions. You will only need the Movi Controller Com Cable. It provides power and data from the controller to the Alpha Wheels. We also currently include a Movi Controller mounting bracket for free with the Movi Controller Cable.
Q: How do I set it up to work with Cine Designer?
A: See the manual for detailed instructions. For the Alpha Wheels, you will only need a micro USB cable. It works off any bus powered USB port. You will also need (and we do not provide) a licensed version of Cinema4D and Cine Designer. A future version of Cine Designer will be released with support for the Alpha Wheels.
Q: How do I set it up to work with a Movi Spektrum Controller?
A: See the manual for detailed instructions. You will need the Spektrum Com Cable and you will also need a 2-pin Lemo 0B power supply. This can be any cable that provides 2-pin lemo power 7-30v, Arri polarity: pin 1 as ground.

A: See the manual for detailed instructions. Currently, we support Ronin via a Futaba Controller. You will need the Futaba Com Cable, a Futaba Controller (like the Futaba 14SG) and you will also need a 2-pin Lemo 0B power supply. This can be any cable that provides 2-pin lemo power 7-30v, Arri polarity: pin 1 as ground.
